There is that famous and clichéd saying that "absence makes the heart grow fonder" which can be true in many cases. I certainly felt that way when Nil went off to Malaysia for winter break, but...it also can make the heart colder and lonely.
Anyway, just a short thought.

ReplyDeleteWell! I think Wilford tries to be a little present when away: I mean, he talks to you on line even he is not physically present.
ReplyDeleteA few more hours, and he will be in Los Angeles. One more week, and you will see him in real life!
Too much absence, especially without communication does not make the heart grows fonder, but makes the people grow apart. But Wilford is coming back! :)
He does try, for which I am very grateful! I still miss him and worry about him (for I worry about everything I care about), and I look forward to when I can see him again with much anticipation.
